Plenty of choice. Well stocked, Spacious and a clean. It only personal checkouts and one working. The lady was cheerful and helpful. The rest do it yourself! It's bad enough having a to do a big shop and pack it especially if one's on own. Don't want to do till as well I don't order online as I like the shop experience and choose goods myself. Always see something not on list!! This is not my area I was visiting with a friend. Plenty of parking.

No piped music the ability to think and compare prices is a absolute asset , having said that Sainsbury's are quite competitive . Have also adopted I'm similar parking white lines as Walmart as the spaces are adequately sized with enough space to open the doors giving you the ability to get your shopping in and out the car let alone the kids.An added advantage is a competitive petrol but they only have two variants do not super unleaded

Well I went to walk in to the south woodham ferrers branch and had trolleys almost completely blocking the door, I then aided by my walking stick started moving them to the side wall so people could get in and found they were all ones that were broken, that people had dumped instead putting them out the way.. in moving them I almost tore off my thumb nail which was lovely.. then bleeding on the floor I hobbled in and went to the fag counter where I had to wait behind some lady who was dilly dallying, figuring out what variety of fag she was going to hoover down even though she appeared as if she'd been smoking for about years.. either that or she'd been doing an up-hill paper round.. (of course eventually she got the same ones she always did..) anyhoo I was finally served and wasn't given just one plaster but two to stop the bleeding.. so very happy now, after that I went in got a few bits and went home.. later that day I thought rather than pop down to my lovely local supermarket it's probably worth me spending £ and having it delivered to my door to avoid all the danger which is what I did.. and I have to say it was alot easier, warmer and safer doing it from home and I'd throughly recommend it to anyone :)

This store is ok but they do leave unattended trolleys for stacking shelves in the middle of the aisles which get in everyone's way. When they are attended staff seem unaware that customers are around. They also have regular price rises that are above the rate of inflation. Profit seems to be their priority.
